Fintronic's Verilog Simulator on 64-bit Linux Workstation!
    Business Editors/High-Tech Writers

    Design Automation Conference 2003

FOSTER CITY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 15, 2003--Fintronic USA, Inc., a leading provider of high-performance Verilog simulators announced the release of Super FinSim 64-bit on Linux.
Fintronic was the first company to port a Verilog simulator to the Linux platform in 1993, as well as to a 64 bit platform in 1996 when it ported to DEC Alpha. After porting to SUN Solaris 64-bit in 1999, Fintronic just rolled out a 64-bit Super FinSim for the newly available Linux 64-bit platform on PC.
Dr. Alec Stanculescu, CEO and president of Fintronic USA, Inc., stated, "Verilog simulation of large circuits is made much easier by the availability of Super FinSim on Linux 64-bit. The new platform will support the execution of simulations using more than 4GB of main memory." A demonstration of Super FinSim on a 6GB PC with Linux 64-bit manufactured by ASL Inc. in Newark will be given inside Fintronic's booth at the DAC Tradeshow in Anaheim, CA between June 2 and June 4, 2003.
Jeff Nguyen, CEO of ASL Inc. in Newark, California stated, "High performance and affordable 64-bit simulation environment has finally arrived!" Using ASL's Monarch 8200 dual AMD 1.8ghz Opteron system with 8GB of memory and Fintronic's Super FinSim Verilog simulator, companies can now purchase a state of the art design platform for under $25K.
